মিথ্যা বলা মহা পাপ। কখনও মিথ্যা বলিও না । সদা সত্য কথা বলবে। ভালো ছেলেরা সত্য কথা বলে । সত্যবাদিতা একটি মহৎ গুণ।

• To tell a lie is a great sin. Never tell a lie. Always speak the truth. A good boy speaks the truth. Truthfulness is a great virtue.

গরু উপকারী জন্তু । এরা ঘাস খেয়ে বাঁচে। গরু আমাদের দুধ দেয়। ইহার দুধ একটি আদর্শ খাদ্য। পৃথিবীর সর্বত্র গরু দেখতে পাওয়া যায়। গরুর চামড়া দিয়ে জুতা, ব্যাগ, বল ইত্যাদি তৈরি হয়। তাই আমাদের উচিত এদের যত্ন নেয়া।

• The cow is a useful animal. It lives on grass. The cow gives us milk. Its milk is an ideal food. The cow found all over the world. Shoes, bags, balls etc. are made of her leather. So we should take care of it.

ভোর হয়েছে। পূর্ব দিকে সূর্য ওঠেছে। বাগানে ফুল ফুটেছে। পাখিরা মিষ্টি সুরে গান গাইছে। মৃদু বাতাস বইছে। ঘুম থেকে ওঠ। সকালের বাতাস স্বাস্থ্যের পক্ষে ভালো।

• It is morning. The sun is up-to the east. Flowers have bloomed in the garden. Birds are singing with sweet tone. Gentle breeze is blowing. Get up from the bed. Morning air is good for health.

গণি মিয়া একজন কৃষক। তার নিজের জমি নেই। সে অন্যের জমি চাষ করে। সেই ফসলের অর্ধেক ভাগ পায়। তা দিয়ে সে কোন মতে দিন চালায়।

• Goni Miah is a farmer. He has no land of his own. He ploughs others lands. He gets half share from that corn. Some how he passes his days with that.

হাজী  মহসীন খুব দয়ালু ছিলেন। তিনি গরীবদের ভালোবাসতেন। তিনি সকলকে সাহায্য করতেন। একদিন তার শয়ন ঘরে চোর ঢুকলো। তিনি চোরকে ধরে ফেললেন। চোর কেঁদে ফেলল। মহসীনের দয়া হল। তিনি চোরকে টাকা দিলেন। বললেন, চুরি করো না। এটা পাপ কাজ।

• Hazi Muhsin was very kind. He loved the poor. He helped all. One day a thief came into his bedroom. He caught the thief. The thief’s eyes burst into tears. Muhsin felt pity. He gave the thief money. He said, don’t steal. It is a sin act.

মৌমাছিরা পরিশ্রমের আর্দশ। তারা পিঁপড়া হতেও বেশী পরিশ্রম করে। সকাল হতে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত এরা ফুলের মধু সংগ্রহ করে। এরা নিজেরা মৌচাক তৈরি করে। তারা সকলেই রাণী মৌমাছির আদেশ মেনে চলে।

• Bees are model of industries. They labour more than even ants. They collect honey of flowers from morning till evening. They make their hive themselves. They all abbey the order of the queen bee.
